The Braun Vangater™ — innovative design. Introduced in 1977, the Vangater™ fold-in-half lift was a major innovation in adapted van transportation. For the first time, adapted van users had the luxury and convenience of half a doorway of usable space for easy loading and unloading. With the lift in its folded position, the ultra-compact, left-mounted single post design created more usable interior space, a clearer side view, and allowed the front passenger seat to be almost fully reclined.

Our exclusive double backup protection system includes a manual override control as well as an auxiliary electric override, so you won't be stranded should your vehicle happen to lose power.

The standard handheld pendant control is a convenient method for those who will have an attendant. The remote control unit offers the ultimate in convenience, allowing the control of all lift functions as well as the optional door operators. Your dealer will be happy to demonstrate additional controls that are available.
