Its automatic operation and rugged construction enable the semi-ambulatory to reliably and conveniently board the front passenger seat of Chrysler, Ford and GM minivans.

The Companion Seat™ — mobility at your fingertips. The Companion Seat system utilizes your van's original seat, but replaces the existing base with a unique power base that extends the seat out the door a full twenty inches. Near the end of the cycle, the seat tilts forward six inches to make boarding safe and easy. One switch controls both the "in" and "out" functions, conveniently located for the seat occupant. When not needed as a mobility aid, the Companion Seat performs like a normal passenger seat–making it perfect for active families with only one member needing assistance.
